The UPSR GCA has news concerning the work/rest, also known as “11/4” implementation for our Committee. The first wave of the implementation for the Southern Region will be portions of the Longview Hub and our non-hub territory, which includes the Coffeyville, KS and Van Buren, AR areas.
Barring some unforseen issues, the cutover to the new work/rest schedules for these areas will be on Tuesday, March 12 at 07:59. Bids for the new work groups are underway. For bid examples, work/rest calendar integrations, and more, please visit 11-4.org for the most, up-to-date information concerning the rollout of the 11/4 across the Union Pacific System.
Hopefully, we will be receiving updated rollout plans for the rest of the Southern Region and we will post more information as we get it.
